Bounty board and side quests
Three bounties a day, one per region, plus a repeating kill contract in whichever region you are standing in.
The bounty board
The Bounty Hunter NPC keeps a board of three bounties, one for each of the desert, scorched and frozen tiers:
| Bounty | Where | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Husk hunt | Sunstorm Desert | Husks, in the desert |
| Magma Cube hunt | Ashen Expanse | Magma cubes |
| Stray hunt | Frostpeak Range | Strays, in the snow |
Each is "kill N of mob X inside the region", and each is completable once per player per day. All three can be done in a day; the board just empties until tomorrow.
Every bounty pays class XP, money and coins — deliberately modest amounts, since this is a daily habit rather than a windfall.
Talk to the Bounty Hunter to take a bounty and to hand it in.
Side quests
The same NPC offers a side quest, and this one works differently:
| What it asks | Kill a number of hostiles in the region you are standing in |
| Which mobs | Any hostile counts — it is not tied to one creature |
| Cooldown | 60 minutes, per player, not per region |
| Reward | Class XP, money, and a small item payout scaled to the tier |
The contract follows the region you are in. One NPC anywhere serves the whole map, because the quest offered is always for wherever you happen to be standing when you take it. Walk to Frostpeak, wait out the cooldown, take it again, and it will ask for Frostpeak kills.
The item payout scales with tier: modest materials at the low bands, diamonds higher up.
Why these exist
The bounty board is the daily reason to go to a region you might otherwise skip, and the side quest is the repeatable one for when you are already out there. Between them they are the main way to keep a class levelling while you are doing something else — an Archer can take a melee-shaped day and still earn towards their class.
