PvP arena
The one place a kill pays the killer instead of destroying the money.
What it is
The pvp world is the arena: a separate world with PvP switched on. It is the only place on the network where players can damage each other.
The rule that makes it different
Everywhere else, dying costs you 10% of your money and the money is destroyed.
In the arena, the killer is paid what the victim lost. Kill someone carrying $50,000 and $5,000 moves from their balance to yours — it is not created and not destroyed, it changes hands.
That is the whole reason the arena exists rather than PvP simply being enabled in survival. Outside the arena there is either no killer to pay, or the money would be farmable by killing an alt.
What the death penalty does here
- The victim loses 10%. The same percentage as anywhere else.
- The killer receives it, with no tax on a PvP kill.
- A death with no killer — fall damage, a mob inside the arena — destroys the money like any other death.
Practical notes
- Bring what you can lose. The arena is not a place to test a full kit of netherite.
- The arena is build-locked like the rest of the server: no placing, no breaking.
- A large balance is a target. Everyone's money is on the sidebar. Carry what you intend to spend.
