Rules and building
Why you cannot place a block in survival, where you can build, and the short list of things that will get you removed.
Building is off in survival — on purpose
You cannot place or break blocks anywhere in Survival1 or Survival2. That is not a broken permission: both worlds carry block-break: deny and block-place: deny on the world itself, and every region inside inherits it.
The world used to allow breaks so a plugin could watch a block being broken and put it straight back. That plugin was retired, and leaving breaks open without it would mean players could permanently destroy the map. When asked, the server's owner extended the same rule to the town rather than relaxing it.
So survival is explore-and-fight terrain. Chests still open, doors still work, NPCs still talk to you — you just cannot reshape the ground.
Where you CAN build:
- Your skyblock island (
/island). A void world, one island per player, and the only place blocks are yours. The starter island is free; bigger borders cost money. - That is the list. If you want to build something, build it there.
What is protected
| World | Build | Break | Chests | Doors and buttons |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Survival1 / Survival2 | no | no | yes | yes |
| Town | no | no | yes | yes |
| Skyblock islands | yes, on your island | yes | yes | yes |
| PvP arena | no | no | — | — |
Explosions are switched off in survival as well — creepers cannot blow holes in the terrain, and neither can anything else. Animal damage is allowed, so you can farm.
The short rules
These are the ones that get people removed rather than warned.
- No cheating. Clients that fly, x-ray, or fight for you are a ban, not a chat.
- No exploits. If you find a way to duplicate an item or mint money, report it. Using it is the fastest way off the server.
- No real-world trading. Selling coins, ranks or items for money outside the store is not allowed, and it is how accounts get stolen.
- No harassment. The chat is small. Being the reason it is unpleasant is a problem.
- Don't advertise. Other servers, Discord invites and links are removed.
- Keep it clean in the town. The town is where new players arrive; don't use it as a recruitment ground or a stage.
What happens if you break them
Staff are helper, moderator and admin. Helpers watch and report; moderators can mute, kick and ban; admins can do anything. A first offence is usually a conversation. The exceptions above — cheating, exploiting, real-world trading — skip the conversation.
If you think something is broken
Ask in Discord before you assume. Two of the most common reports — "I can't build" and "my level is wrong in the tablist" — are both intended behaviour:
- not being able to build is covered above;
- the tablist shows your class level while a separate character level sits behind the scenes, so a mismatch between the number you expect and the number shown is usually Classes doing exactly what it should.
